Domestic Shipping Options

Note - all of these options come with built-in insurance and tracking.

1) Media Mail aka Book Rate (flat rate of $4 per shipment)

This is the most economical way to ship books, magazines, and videos. It cannot, however, be used for other items. The US Postal Service says to expect a 5 to 7 business day delivery time, however, we have known it to take much longer on occasion, particularly to destinations very far from us in New Jersey (Texas and Hawaii have been the worst offenders, we've noticed). Use this option if you're not in any rush.

2) First Class (cost varies by weight)

This is the most economical way to ship beads and our custom-made jewelry, gifts and ornaments. Single project books and magazines may also be shipped this method. The US Postal Service says to expect a 3 to 5 business day delivery time. First Class Mail only goes up to 13 ounces, so if you order begins to get too heavy, we will automatically charge you the Priority rate and ship it that way.

3) Parcel Post (cost varies by weight and destination)

This is a handy option for some of the heavier items. It's not as slow as Media Mail and not as expensive as Priority Mail.

4) Priority (cost varies by weight and destination, $6.00 flat-rate envelopes available for orders that fit inside them)

This is the best choice for reasonably fast shipping of any of the items we sell. The US Postal Service says to expect a 2 to 3 business day delivery time. Because Priority Mail is "zoned" after 1lb, rates vary wildly from one part of the country to another. We will ship your order in a flat-rate envelope, if it will fit, and decrease your shipping charges accordingly before you are charged.

5) Express Mail (cost varies by weight, $18.25 flat-rate envelopes available for orders that fit inside them)

Given that we don't ship every day, our Express Mail services are limited. Please do not assume that we will be able to ship your package the day you place your order, or even the following day! If you require Express shipping, please indicate this in the "Comments" section of our shopping cart, and let us know what to do in the event that we can't ship immediately. The US Postal Service says to expect a 1 business day delivery time.

International Shipping Options

Note - all of these options come with built-in insurance, but tracking is generally not available.

1) International First Class (formerly "Airmail Letter Post", cost varies by weight and destination)

This is a reasonably fast and economical method for shipping items under four pounds. The US Postal Service says delivery time varies by destination. If your items are too heavy, we will choose the next most economical option for your order and charge you accordingly.

2) International Priority Mail (formerly "Global Priority Mail", cost varies by weight and destination, $12.50 flat-rate envelopes available for orders that fit inside them [ $10.50 for Canada and Mexico])

Almost all of our international shipments are sent in Priority Flat Rate envelopes. If your order is relatively flat and under 4 lbs this is the best option for you. The US Postal Service says to expect a 4 to 10 business day delivery time. If your order is too bulky to fit in a single envelope, it may be necessary to ship in two seperate envelopes or a box. We will always choose the most economical option for you.

5) International Express Mail (formerly "International Express Mail", cost varies by weight and destination, $27 flat-rate envelopes available for orders that fit inside them [ $24 for Canada and Mexico])

The US Postal Service says to expect a 3 to 5 business day delivery time.
