Welcome
to Polka Dot Creations. I am Lisa
Clarke, and I make items from polymer clay and
other compatible materials. The designs are not
painted on but are rather assembled from colors
inherent in the clay. The technique is known as
millefiori and is borrowed from the ancient glassmaking
technique of the same name.
I
have built an extensive
library of millefiori canes in coordinating color
families and all of my work incorporates these
canes in one way or another. You are currently enjoying
a slideshow of items in the Swamp color scheme.
