About the Author: Artist Dorothy Harvey has over 14 years experience working with polymer clay and is currently the vice president of The New Jersey Polymer Clay Guild. She creates jewelry, miniatures and art pieces utilizing the unique properties of this unusual medium, but her passion is sculpting in polymer clay, creating one of a kind art objects.
Her artistic expression is not limited to polymer clay however. She works with water color and acrylic paint as well as pastels.
She is a graduate of the New York School of Interior Design, working for several years in this field. She uses those skills to create custom architectural renderings for private homes on commission and for friends and family.
