The Masters' Invitational Polymer Clay Exhibition, or MIPCES, was a groundbreaking show held in New Jersey in 1997. Conceived by Elise Winters, it brought together some of the early innovators in the medium. This booklet features the work and words of Gwen Gibson, Steven Ford & David Forlano, Tory Hughes, Kathleen Dustin, Lindly Haunani, Kathleen Amt, Susan Hyde, Nan Roche, Liz Mitchell, Jamey Allen, Pier Voulkos, David Edwards, Kazuyo Yamashita, Elise Winters, Cynthia Toops, Amy Zinman, Margaret Regan, Margaret Maggio, and Katherine Dewey. It's an interesting glimpse into polymer clay history.
